Hello,

I am now on my 5th RAZR from XBM. This one keeps on showing me call failed a lot. The outside screen has dust underneth it. I am getting very fed up. What should I do at this point. Will XBM be willing to offer me anything else? Should I ask for anyother phones? What do you guys think?

sell the next one you get either locally (craigslits), ebay, or the B/S/T forum here and use the funds to get another phone, perhaps a sony ericsson or a nokia

get something else. try a nokia 6682 or a w600i. if u argue enough theyl give u one

You won't be able to.

I would wait a bit and try to get the Nokia 6126 when it comes out. It's thinnish like the razr.

On a side note, if you want to stay with Moto, the SLVR is inherently built better since its a candybar with less moving parts.

heh, this goes to show u the build quality of razrs.... so mass produced now, the quality control is garbage.

it's a real nice phone.

there is a 6131 (essentially the 6126) already on ebay, for a price of ~320ish. Considering this phone is brand new and unbsubsidized, I think we can expect the 6126 to be not too expensive.

I don't think XBM will do that. Like I said before, sell the phone, and use the funds toward this one.

I called them and just got off the phone a little while ago, they offered me a w600i or another RAZR, full kit. I took the RAZR full kit, this is phone number 6. It will be here tomorrow. Lets see how it goes. If its still messed up im going to ask very nicely for a different model. I already had the w600i and didnt like the form factor

well the problem is u started out w/ a razr which is kind of amid range phone now.

i started w/ mpx220 -> s710a -> 6682(it is on its way)
all through xbm

im just saying if u start with the a very high end phone ull have no problem gettin the newer high end phones. but if u start w/ a midrange phone u pretty much stuck witha midrange phone. just ask fora something different next time

try it, i did and i got it.
but i did everything first, went thorugh the terms and shippin options and then asked.

So they setup a XBM for a S710a then you asked? Like explain to me how u got it.

they give u options at the end. and the 6682 wasnt one of them so i argued until she said she would send one.

yeah, my options were Razr or w600i. dont argue too much, just make it clear u know what ur talkin bout and u want a 6682, try talkin to a supervisor too.

usually after 3 phones of the same model u can ask for a diff model so good luck gettint the nokia!!!

Script: hi i'm on my 6th razr having taht is having problems.I would like a replacement but a different brand. then they say the sony and u say that u dont like the form factor. then she or he might offer soemthing else and then use make and excuse that u don't like taht and bring up the 6682. If she/he says no say taht u've been a patient costumer or soemthing like that. gl hope that helps a lil

they went ahead and approved the Nokia 6682. I am not sure if I should take it or not. Its left on the notes, all I have to do is go ahead and give them a call back.

Let me here some opinons, I have a 3G 64k Sim, so thats good I hear for this phone.

How is the phone? How does it look? How are the features? How is the screen compared to the V3?

I just recently (last week) traded my 4th RAZR for a 6682 via XBM. I prefer it. The bluetooth is better the screen is better, the camera is better. The biggest thing I don't like is that I bought the RAZR for the size for because it was the cool phone and this is definately a bigger phone, but in this case well worth it. I also have the 3G SIM and it works fine and does have network select. In areas where I got no signal (my desk at work) I now have full or nearly full signal. Overall, for me it was a worthwhile switch. Good luck!

So it sounds like a worthwhile switch. What color is the phone?

I LOVE my 6682. I dont think I could ever part with it. I also found the RF to be better than any moto I have used.

I called them back and they said its backordered. I looked at the RMAs online and it says pending with no info. What should I do from here?

i just xbm'd my s710 for a 6682. 2 day air too. the phone is awsome. internet is great too. camera is on par w/ s710a. good luck

I have also had 5 razrs. I explained my situation and they told me I could get a w600i (had 2 already) another razr (obviously not) or a 6682. I got the 6682 and it is an awesome phone. It works great. The UI is kind of slow but other than that it is an awesome phone. Got it for free too! Just go with the nokia. You won't be sorry!
