I need an expert's advice...

I tried to put a skin on my Verizon Wireless V3c after following a tutorial on this site. I made a new directory in the a/moblie/skins folder and placed all the files for the skin (.dats and .ski) in the directory. I enabled the skin in my phone's settings, then it crapped out. I can now turn on my phone, use the camera and dial numbers, but when trying to open the main menu, the screen turns white, goes back the the home screen, then the phone restarts.

I don't know what else to do but to take it to Verizon to get it fixed. I deleted the directory of the faulty skin with P2kcommander but it is still giving me problems( I assume because it is looking for a skin that is not there). So please, could an expert help me?!

can you try to change back to the skin you installed?

Well, when putting the files back on the phone for the skin, the menu does the same thing, but the menus for ringer type on the front LCD are the color of the intended skin. I don't think the Verizon UI likes the skin trying to change the menu. At this point I just want my menu back. Could I format the phone somehow? Anything will make me happy if it is as it used to be.

you could try a master reset. Go to settings, initial setup, then scroll down to master reset.

I wish I could do that, but I can't access my settings menu, or any menu for that matter, haha....dammit!!
