I'm having some problems getting some stuff hooked up.

#1 is the wifi. but there are so many threads on that already, i'll just keep digging.

#2 is weather. i'm using the spb weather program. for some reason it wont pull down anything. i just keep getting "Weather data is not available". and thats with selecting a "known" city but not my city. before that i got some other error message.

i have disabled the cingular proxy, which has seemed to help with getting some pop 3 set up. so thats ok for now.

i am on unlimited medianet if that matters.

i've also noticed that when i'm synched up by usb, my signal drops.

so many possibilities with this phoen as i'm finding out from reading post. i've made it to page 20 of reading the "tips" forum. but i've found that after doing any of the edits, my seems to run a bit slower.

anyway, my main point of this thread is the weather. (sorry to ramble). so if i can get some help on that, it would be appreciated.

I am in the same boat as you.. I bought SPB Weather when I bought SPB Plus and SPB Diary.. I have sent three emails and they have yet to respond. I have been unable to get the weather to work. I am using Marsware Weather Panel with much success.. The developer has disappeared off the face of the earth, but the program simply works. Give it a try!

i wound up getting it to work. i dl'd the latest version from the spb site. the first version i got was a trial from some ppc site, cant remember which one. but wasnt going to buy out of the trial before getting it to work. maybe i'll try the other and see which i like better.
