V3i screen shuts down...(battery save)

I have a problem with my brand new Razr V3i.

I set the maxium time for the light to stay on wich is 20 seconds. It works. After 1 min the screensaver hits in (like it should) but only for about 30 seconds then the screen shuts down to save mode. I have choosen in the options that it should stay on.
Should it do that?

If i press a button it lights up again with no problem, but id still prefer if it stays lit while im talking.

Also the moto sound that's playing in the beginning doesn't play no more.
Not really a bad thing but still

I only had it for a few days.

Anyone else with this problem?

Another thing wich has been bothering me a bit...

The aluminum looks much lighter in all the promopix than in 'real life'.
If i flip the phone in the light i can get a lighter color but flat on the table in normal light it's quite dark. Is that how it should be?

None of my friends has this model so i can't compare.

or more like the screen light turns off...not the entire screen . I can see the screensaver in the back if i look close.

So maybe it works just as it should...when i come to think about it.

I was kinda annoyed by this as well, I wish it didnt work like that, as even in direct sunlight you cant see the screen when the backlight is off.
