Thinking about getting SCP-3100 ...

[preferably in "Always Pink"]. I'm wondering if this phone is any good. I've done some research on it and it looks like a good buy, but I had my hopes up on getting the Sidekick II, going to T-Mobile and terminating my Sprint contract. But after seeing the Always Pink SCP-3100, I'm having second thoughts. Can anyone tell me if the Always Pink is available for purchase? It's not on the website and I haven't had a chance to stop by the store. Thanks to everyone in advance for any input.

I just got one (always pink) by calling sprint. I had VI-2300 but like 3100's large front display better. They are pretty much the same to me beside the camera function.. oh, the LCD screen is clear too in my opinion.

My wife and I just picked up 2 of these phones, she got the "Always Pink" and I got the "Espresso".. So far this phone rocks, I am still learning how to use it, but it has so far exceeded my expectations (having switched from a Blackberry on the Nextel side!)

The camera takes decent pictures (this is my first camera phone), and the menus are easy to navigate around. The default ring tones that come with it are kind of annoying (I set mine to Ring + Voice - so I get the default ring tone plus a voice that says "Incoming Call")

As for availability, I had to visit a few different stores before I found one, most of them carry everything but the pink one!

theyre in limited supply in the retail channels b/c its selling very well. its an average phone, pretty much the same as every other phone sanyo has put out in the last three years: solid phone, nothing exciting. for the money id get the lg 350, its not pink but offers loads more features for the same price. weve seen more 3100s returned than 350s so take that for what its worth as well

Solo Mobile is going to come out with this phone, and I have a Sanyo 2300. I wanted them to have Sanyo 8300 or Motorola RAZR but nooooo they didn't

Do you think I should get this phone? If it doesn't have a lot of features I'll pass

I just got the 3100 and I am fine with it except for the volume. At least once when I am talking to someone, their voice gets really low and I can barely hear them. Anyone else have this problem? Is the 8300 better in this respect?
