Does anyone think it would be possible to stream music from their website given the EVDO capabilities on the new 700p?

...(crickets chirping)...your silence speaks volumes...I know...we'll know more after it's release...my bad

I wouldn't see why not as long as the browser supports it.
I assume their site doesn't have any ability to stream directly from Winamp, WMP, or ITunes? I know with XM you can't stream directly but you have to use their web 'client.'
If you have an EV-DO connection you could always use something like Pocket Tunes and stream from any of the literally thousands of sites... Not that it's Sirius though.

i have the 700w and am a XM subscriber, i use www.minixm.com, to listen to XM on my Treo. . .
Sirius users the following program: http://www.emulamer.com/SiriuCE.html.
These programs are for WM5 devices, i'm sure if u do a search u can find one for the Palm OS.
*just to say that streaming from satellite radio is possible w/ EVDO*

You maybe able to do it if you use an opera browser.

Reports are that there will be support for streaming WMV and WMA files on the 700p.
see this thread below. Marcus. the treocentral founder has one. he reports that he can stream xm radio online through blazer. he also reports that "Streaming technology powered by: Kinoma Media Embedded".
so i will go out on a limb here and say that yes sirius will work too.

Yes, there was confirmation my one of the guys from Treocentral.com who has a review unit. They said both the 32K and 64K streams worked "flawlessly."
