Is there a max # of shots available on the v635?

I just got a 512mb memory card and when I took a picture, the phone said that it had 999 more shots, even though I took a few dozen pictures. I have about 350mb of free space on the card. Is there a SEEM edit to show the correct number of shots? (not that I'm complaining)

Yep...my L7 as well.

Truthfully....I can't seem to recall what my V635 would say in similar circustances.

I'm wondering if there's a maximum on the display characters for remaining pictures, hence being truncated to 999.

Well, I think I have managed to get that done before, but Ive modded the phone so much I cant remember what it was, here is a seem edit that might be of help, maybe.

Seem 0032_0001
bit 5: Multimedia > Pictures > Menu > Pictures Setup > Counter (1 on, 0 off)

But for now thats all I could find without looking over the entire seem list again.

What will that do?

And I kinda solved it by adding more MP3 files to my phone

(and now I got more songs than what my brother has on his PSP)

Nothing in respect to your original question. It just adds another option to the Pictures Setup menu within Pictures, not within Camera. Changing the menu option to on or off does nothing to the counter in the camera.

Look around, it's not a big deal. Like anyone REALLY needs to count 1000+ fuzzy pictures
