hey i have my v220 for more than a year and now when i try to charge it nothing happens. the phone itself is pretty messed-up because it blackouts amd the camera doesn't work and also the signal is bad. but now when i stick the plug to charge the phone nothing happens, the display doesn't display charging, the style doesn't change to "loud" and if i leave the charger connected to the phone regardles, the battery dosent charge.
so i need help, i opened the phone and cleaned it up from the dust and that didn't help.

yes i tried 2 differen chargers, and none of them worked

is the phone still covered under warranty?? If it is, I'd try taking it back and getting a new one

no i got the phone for more than a year and i be able to upgrade it in september, but until then i want to be able to use it.

Today i went to authorized motorola service with my and my brother's v220s. the technician said that it might be a fuse inside the phone. so he took the phones and analized them and concluded that the fuses are blown. he said that the motorola chargers that i received with the phone, were giving out too much voltage. one charger was 36 volts and other one 12 volts, when they really supposed to be 4.8 volts. i think that there is a big difference between 36 and 4.8 volts, fortunatelly he was able to replace the fuse and something else that got burned for $25 each. so for about $50 i got 2 cell phones fixed and a free new working charger.
i very angry with the quality of the chargers that i got with the phones and think that motorola could have done a better jobe in making their products last more than a year and a half. if only they have put a fuse inside the charger then i would just buy a new charger.
