Someone mentioned in a thread here....search title "ringtones" "definitive way to delete" etc.,

What one person did (kinda long way around it) was to create 0b files with the same titles as the ringtones...then upload them all. What happens is that these 0b files end up over-writing the actual ringtones, after you restart., those files disappear because they effectively have become corrupt and as such don't display

Kind annoying isn't it? Just delete them usinga p2k type program.

Interesting choice of colour scheme indeed, but it does have some useful and easy to follow instructions, especially for n00bs like me

You'll need a USB cable and Bitpim, no, can't do it on your phone

If you go first with your p2k program...or say motokit, and change the properties of the ringtone files from system, to modifiable., THEN you could delete those files willy nilly from your phone
