Thera and Verizon

Hello all I have a vx6700 now and love it! My wife had a treo and loved it so now i am trying to take her the ppc route. Instead of buying a very expensive 6700 i thought i would get her a thera or I700 first to see if she would like it. The I700 is still being activated by verizon right...? I ahve heard that the there does not meat e911 and they will not activate it now? Is this true? Should i pay alittle more for a I700? If she likes either i will get her the 6700 but again I dont want to pay much for the test phone. What would you recomend? Any help would be great!

OK verizon does not support it anymore... oh well ill try to get her a I700 then any other suggestions?

Why bother? Is the Treo working for her? I think WM5 is slower and more difficult to use than the Treo/Palm.
The Thera and i700 are (were) pretty crappy, so if you love her, you come up with a better option (maybe the upcoming Treo 700p?)
