all.....discontinued meaning they are not gonna manufacture anymore so what ever stock they have is all that there is left

Well, then that should be an indication that the SK3 is not that far away, but T-Mobile is probably going to let the store stocks die down first of course..........I smell a June-July launch................Do you?

the article says mid june, and i hope thats for skII owners to trade it in for the newer model for $100 off like last time, and then everyone else can go fight for one in july

I can confirm this, I went to probably 4-5 stores w/ my bf (who was looking to buy one) and all the reps told me this. They still wouldn't pin down a date though but they all "suspected" between June-Aug.

The in-store reps (although this part take with a grain of salt) all told me that it'd be about $100 off if you renewed your contract for 2 years (if you haven't recently renewed and are eligible to do it again) and another $100 if you traded in the old Sidekick for the new one (although this scares me a bit because what if the new one breaks or has some kind of problem or you just end up prefering the old one)... however here's the catch... they said it'd still be like $200 (or abouts) w/ those kind of discounts.

guys discontinued doesnt mean its off the shevles it just means sharp has stoped manufacturin them...meanin what ever stores have or the website tmo has that is it.....do some of u need a dictionary to see the meanin? and yes i do think the sk3 will come out in early july...for sk2 owners then prolly an aug or sep release to all other customers...and i belive so cus it was the same when the sk2 came out....i dont have any quoteable sources this is jus from past experience....also noone knows what the upgrade program will be for the sk3......so please dont ask its kina rhetoric...and no the sk3 is not gonna be on any other carrier....plain n simple they already have it on enuff tmo does not have an exclusive contract....but cingular has other smart phones n they dont want the sk3

The reason why cingular wont pick up the sidekick is b/c, they will never give unlimited text messaging out. cingular is just high priced gsm provider. they cant compete with tmobile.
