How Do You Master Reset A SPC-3100?

My cellphone got ran over and my buddy has a spc-3100 that use to be his gf's and she locked it b4 giving it back to him.......he doesn't know the code...how can this be taken off or master reset? Any help would be very appreciative thank you.
