I just got my 4900 about a month ago and the only thing I dislike about it compared to my old N400 is that the earpiece volume is very low even when set on high. It's only loud enough when the ambient noise level is very quiet. Forget talking in the car. I know Sanyos have a particular "sweet spot" and you have to position the phone high on your ear but it's still almost unusable at best.

I'll replace it with a 4920 if I must since I hear the earpiece is nice and loud. But I also hear the 4920 has a worse speakerphone (simplex?) and worse reception so hopefully I just have a defective 4900.

Anyone else have/had this problem with their 4900?
