Hey,

I have a PEBl which I had unlocked and am using on the cingular network. I have been tryinng to set up the MMS and data services to work on the cingular network to no avail. All the tutorials direct me to the settings menu and then to web sessions (below the java item) but on my phone there is no web settings option. I tried an over the air update but the browser message never showed up. Can anyone offer me any advice? Should I call cingular and tell them I need updates for my razr and would they be cross compatible?

Thanks in advance

If this phone was originally issuesd for T-Mobile customers, there are no configurable browser or MMS settings. T-Mobile locks the settings so there is no need for a menu to access the settings. The only things which will work are voice, voice mail and SMS. The V3 probably was not the best choice for OTA configuration. It is more along the lines of the V500-series.

check the motorola forum. i believe T mobile phones have this issue with no websession menu available. a flex to cingular may be the answer.

I decided to bump this thread, better then making a whole new thread. The OTA server is down and i need to set it up for a pebl. I already unbranded it so its has no built in web browser but i need to get MMs and medianet working
