Skype is free untill the end of the year. Just downloaded to my 8125 and works very well. Also run it on a axim x51. Its free over a wifi connection to make outgoing calls.

skype is that an ebay owned company and they are offering free phone calls?

I read a little bit about the "ebay/skype" thing, I dont know if ebay bought them or not. They may have just bought a ton of advertising on there site, but who knows will have to read deeper into it.

I think Skype services will start to change now that eBay has bought them. It will never be the same. Even lately I've been using it and it's constantly dropping calls. It never use to do that before eBay!

I think all the voip services have a way to go. I subscribe to my local utilities bundle of phone, internet and cable. It took me forever to get them to admit the phone service was voip. Still have problems with it sometimes.
