8940/8910 Data Cable Transfer Rates

Hey all, how fast can you transfer stuff using a USB data cable? I am specifically referring to movies on the 8940, but I had an 8910 and saw it has about the same speed when I get pics off the phone so I'll want to hear from both owners. For an 18mb movie on the 8940, it takes me almost an hour...it this normal? LOL When posting, please give me the phone, file type, size, and extimate of time taken...THANKS!

Sorry I wasn't that specific before, I am referring to getting movies off of my computer and on to the phone...thanks for the PM's, but don't be afraid to post!!!!
