Everyone's RAZR I have messed with, including mine, would receive and send files from a computer or another phone. On the Moto, you go to the file (such as an MP3 or pic) and go to Menu, then copy (or move). It will activate the Bluetooth and send the file.

Is that what you wanted?

Never had a problem sending ringtones/wallpapers via bluetooth to my sister's RAZR. Also I have tested JAVA apps and the work fine as well. When I had my V551 it was very similar too, no problems.

I'm trying to send from Windows to the Moto, and it's saying the phone doesn't have obex installed. I'll play with my Cingular locked razrs and report back. but this is an AT&T locked razr, and doesn't appear to have obex enabled at all.

Search for a hack that can turn that on. I might be wrong, but I think you can SEEM edit OBEX to turn it on. xlr8 has a great list of hacks, search for OBEX.

Are you sure that you didn't forget to turn on OBEX on the computer?

Yes, Cause there's the little bluetooth idon, you right click "Push/Send file to device" and did that, that's where it was telling me obex wasn't enabled.
