NEW S.E z710i & w850i Speculations??

S.E. just announced two new handsets, both I will say are looking hot! I know some of the specs of the w850i aren't very US friendly but as we saw with the w550 becoming the US w600i, the chance of us seeing these phones are looking pretty good. It's looking like Q3 before we can even think about it though.

Yet another new S.E Walkman phone announced..

These phones were just announced today, and based on past phone releases, has Cingular said anything about subsidizing a new release on the same day?

Why bother to spread speculation? It always leads to people being misinformed.

People on here will always be misinformed (for various resons I shouldn't get into).

It shouldn't stop someone from posting something they think is interesting.

On the topic of the phones I think they look pretty nice. That walkman phone posted by Cingularblog looks dumpy though.

Do those things still use Sony's Memory Sticks? Ridiculous, I tell you. Simply, ridiculous.

W850 has no 850, so no go for Cingular. The Z710 could possibly replace the z520a, but I honestly think it is to much of an upgrade, making it more of a high-end phone when it is meant to be mid-range as it would be replacing the z520a.

Would it be a Sony if it WASN'T using some lame proprietary version of a technology already well developed and accepted in other forms? It seems a requirement in everything they do. That is why I won't use many of their products. It's too bad too, because they do many things well, when they aren't doing stupid things like reinventing technologies that already work well or just simply have no hope of being used my anyone but them.
