really new to smart phones so did a mistake by buyieng a treo 600 at ebay.well the phone is sprint but the software in it is verizon...how can i switch back to sprint

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that the CDMA Treos can't be unlocked. It sounds like someone just installed the Verizon firmware on it. If this is the case, you can download the Sprint firmware from Palm's website. Check on treocentral.com or mytreo.net to make sure before you do anything though. You don't want to accidentally screw up your phone.

also check with verizon. I tried to buy a sprint treo as well but verizon said it could not be switched. However, there may be a way. Most of the hackers on this site usually find a way to get around these restrictions.

If it's a Sprint phone you should be able to get the MSL and sprint firmware re-installed at a local dealer.... That said, why on earth would you go with Sprint?

based on ur knowledge u made a mistake. It can be done, certainly not easily
