Hey,
I have lately purchased a Sanyo SCP-7300 from Bell Mobility (Canada). I noticed on the bottom of the phone that you can hok up a cable like one tha connects to a computer. Are you at all able to upload your own photos to this phone say of your contacts? And then when that contact phones you it pops up with his or her picture? Also for it to do this do you need caller ID?
Does anybody have any products that they recommend for this?
Thanks,
Schmidty

You can use BITPIM @ www.bitpim.org to upload contacts, which can be imported from various formats (it's also good as a backup incase your phone looses them or you have to do a hard reset)
I got a USB cable from http://www.123usb.net/ I got it off ebay really cheap. The cable not only allows the phone to be used as a modem but also charges the phone. I just got a MM7500 (to replace the 7300) and it came with a usb data cable. Doesn't charge so it's a spare for data use. I just had the phone set up as a phone as modem so it hits the "power vision" network and I'm pulling about 1mbps data speed in the Detroit metro area. As far as BITPIM goes, it sets the standard, is free and worth a donate to it's author(s) I've used it with the 4900, 8200, 7300, 9000, 4920 and 2300 (all sanyo phones) with no problems. There's no support yet for the 7500 but I'm sure it will soon. Hope this helps.
