im thinking about switching over to gophone, and buying a lg cu320 at retail price for it. can anybody here give their opinion on it, and is the only good thing about the phone is that high speed service (edge?)? because if i get the cu320 for go phone, I probably will not have the high speed data service.

the phone is nice, cv is nice, pics are crappy for a 1.3 but then again your probably not buying it just for that. i personally thing unless you have an unlimted data package you cant take full advantge of this phone, it hyped to by a video phone so thats its main purpose. like the previous poster said it has problems with signal only if your in a utms area. what i mean is if you live in a all utms area you wont have a problem. (same with edge)but if you live in area thats doesnt have good utms coverage it will always be searching for that signal, so you will get stuck with a bar or none, but from my experience with this phone you can still make and get a call with no bars (as long as it had the 3g symbol your good) i could also watch cv and use data on too , imho its a nice phone if you have a data plan. my two cents

data plan meaning able to use text messaging/pic messaging/etc?
or data plan meaning having the cingular video service?
because to my knowledge, go phone allows you to text message, picture message, and download ringtones, wallpapers, etc. to your gophone.

data plan as in unlimted utms/edge
