Is there anyway to place an icon as some sort of indicator that lets me know when I have the CAPS ON or the SHIFT LOCK (red characters) are ON? Please for the love of GOD someone give me a positive answer.

*sigh*

Search this forum or forum.xda-developers.com . There's a simple reg edit to do this, and it's been mentioned many, many dozens of times on both forums...

Same for me on my T-Mo MDA. This regedit does not work for me.

Try putting it in standby first <i.e., click the top power button> then do a soft reset.

I remember reading it.. but that doesn't apply to me since I just use Remote Registry Tool that comes with Visual Studio and the changes are automatic <or so it seems for me>.

Forgot to update this thread. I read some where that after making the registry changes, give it some time (30 secs or more), for the changes to be 'saved', then soft reset or shut down the phone/PDA completely using the power button, wait another few seconds, start your PDA/Phone.

Atleast this process has helped me with this reg edit hack for CapsLock.
