Why can't I play this .mid file on CDM8900?!

I was able to send it to my phone via e-mail before and play it via phone as a ringtone, but a year later, it simply won't play via the phone! I even replaced my old phone with a new CDM8900 (for other reasons) and it still won't play! No matter where I get the file, or original. It plays fine on the computer, perfectly audible. I haven't messed with my phone's software.
Zipped file attached (.zip). Virus-free.
Can someone PLEASE check it out for me and tell me WHAT THE HELL is wrong with it??? I'd appreciate it very much!
