Canada/Rogers - New phone upgrade: W600i or SLVR?

So, as the subject says.. I am looking to do an upgrade to my account, I am not sure which is cheaper but before I go looking, I would like to know what people's opinions are of either of these phones?

I am currently a dedicated Nokia person but like the looks of these two phones, please convince me I am looking in the right spot!!

I don't have any experience from either phone, but I have friends who own W600i's and love it, and quite a few people here own either phone, they'll give you more insight than I can

depends on what you're looking to do with it specifically
for example if you want one with loud speakers then the w600 would be better
so list features you want

Geez, I don't really know what I "want".. but I have a Nokia 3220 and I am sure I would be happy with either upgrade.

L7 has a memory slot but w550 has a better camera.

Definately the W600i. I am very against Motorola phones. I have known too many people who have worked at various call center/warranty areas that have to deal with Motorola claims. All of them have said to me that they deal with far less Sony phones than Motorolas. As well every time I've called dealers on the motorolas not being good, they've always admitted the same things I've heard from my friends.

I would go for the W600i if I were you. =)

If the W600i had the ability to accept memory expansion, it would be an ideal phone for me. RF is great, walkman feature good, camera a tad better. If you can live with 256 megs of memory... I would go for the W600i. Otherwise... I reluctantly would go for the slvr.

If you're a dedicated Nokia person I would recommend going to the W600i. Motorola's poor UI will seem like a huge step down. Also, I think the W600 will hold enough songs, with a better (faster) music player compared to the L7. Also, it should be noted the W600 camera can take pictures at 3x the res of the L7.
