Hello Cingular gang. The Samsung D307 might be coming to Canada and I am wondering how popular the phone is with Cingular customers.

The way that I see it, to stand out a phone has to do something exceedingly well. From my perspective this phone is not a great voice phone (easy to use) and not a great data device.

Who is the phone most popular with?
What is it used for most?
Let me hear your thoughts.

You say it is not a "smartphone" so what would you consider this phone?
Is it just a "regular" phone with keyboard?
Would it classify as a PDA phone?

This is not a PDA phone. It's basically a text-messaging machine for people who don't need all the features of a PDA but want the convenience of a full keyboard. Kind of a waste of a phone, IMO.
