Going on a trip...what do you usually load on your Treo's?

Hey all,

Another trip is ahead of me next week. I have a 512MB SD card, which is still 80% empty, even though everyone suggested I get a 1GB card.

What do you guys put on your Treo's? I want to maybe take some music? What's the best app for that? And will the headset they give out on planes work to listen to music?

Also, videos or entire movies maybe? Games? I can't seem to come even close to fill this baby up.

movies use tcmp and pocket tunes for music. you need an adapter for regular headphones.

you'll need a 2.5mm --> 3.5mm adapter to use "regular" headphones with your treo.

i grabbed one from radioshack for around $3 that worked fine on my last trip. for trips, i currently have my 1gig card loaded up with a copy of "old school," and some random music.

tcpmp..is great for videos..but if that is what u are aiming for you may need to get the 1-2gb card depending on how long of a movie..either way its a good investment in the phone...

i usually keep monopoly on mine and checkers..i like boardgames..also i got Texas hold em which is great for a long trip...esp if you are going to vegas!

I gots mine loaded with Mpegs. I use TCMP (The Core Movie Player) and I dup all my best shows. Right now I'm full of Futurama and Simpsons vids, a 1 gig card will store about 25 give or take, with room for music and apps.

Plus Warfare Unlimited as a game rocks, if your willing to buy it.

Local road maps are what I cannot live without. I have a Bluetooth GPS and use it when I am driving in a city that I am traveling in.

TomTom 5.12 is permanently loaded onto my 2GB SD Card plus a kajillion apps / programs and just a few games (NesEm is my favorite).
