Hi guys. I have an Audiovox smt5600 which fist it was on AT&T and now I`m using it on Fido. 2 weeks ago Fido introduced the new feature for their caller ID that displays the name of the caller even though you don`t have it saved in your phone book. For some reason or another my phone displays only the number as before, not the name as well. I tried my SIM card in a Motorola V3 and it works. Any of you that are using Audiovox smt5600 are experiencing the same thing is me, or it`s just my cellphone. Thanks.

I'm using an SMT5600 with Rogers and do not see name display yet either. I'll test my SIM in a Motorola and let you know in a few days.

I have asked basically the same question in a different thread.... and never got a straight answer.

My experience is Windows Mobile or the phone manager doesn't support the name display feature. Doesn't make sense for business devices, but such is life.

From my test Rogers name display worked on my Moto but did not on my SMT5600. Must be a Windows Mobile issue...
