Sprint Treo 650 on Verizon Network

Guys I have wanted a treo 650 for a while now but did not have the money for one. My buddy has a brand new one from sprint he got as a gift but never used it as he already had one. Anyway he wants to give it to me but my phone network is on Verizon. I am wandering is it possible to use a sprint treo 650 from sprint on a verizon network.

No, because Verizon will not activate a phone unless its ESN is in their database (just like Sprint). You'd be better off switching to Sprint (unless Sprint doesn't have good coverage in your area) simply because of data plan pricing.. Sprint's $15, versus Verizon's $45.
