Do you think they changed the power button on those refurbs?

I'd deal with it for that price.

I put in a few zip codes and was able to get the deal.

What was/is the deal with the power button?

The original one was hard to operate. The newer one should be easier to press.

Thats an awesome deal for such a GREAT phone. I love my 2125!!! Plus I've gotten atleast 7 phones replaced via XBM in the past 1.5 years and they have been excellent quality!

I had them send me a replacement 2125 for the one I had because my screen went crazy. Well it's the same type of power button as the originals. I am sure it's a refurb as well as it even had the older firmware.

If Cingular gave the same warranty on their refurbs as they do in their new phones, then it'd be an awesome deal. But signing a two-year contract and getting just 90 days of warranty is insane.

FYI-

As I posted in another thread I got a NEW 2125 for $0 (after rebates) and shipped for free. I did this by calling customer service and they matched what Amazon was offering. The benefit of going the CS route was I got to keep my old numer.

Now I was a blue customer with an expired charter plan. I also called the disconnect line. I dont know if that helped.

I guess that did the trick.
