New power button for 2125?

I had a Cingular 2125 when they first came out and noticed the problems with the power button and sold it after using it for a few weeks. Today I bought another one because I missed the phone and lo and behold there is a new power button. The old one was flush with the surface of the hump but now it is raised so all you have to do is push down toward the bottom of the phone with no problem

. Has anyone else noticed the new power button?

I've had mine since they were released and it works OK. Always pushed down to turn it off/on.

i just use the the button to switch on i have a software button to shutdown or softreboot.but i do have a different phone aswell

i just got a replacement 2125 via warranty exchange, and yes, i now have the new power button on it. seems that the rom is newer, too, but haven't had time to confirm that...
