HELP!! Software for LG PM 225

HI,
I'm new at all of this, but here goes. I have the USB cable that I need, but I can't find the software I need to use my phone as a modem for my laptop. I have the LG PM 225 phone. Sprint doesn't offer the software and neither does the phone manufacturer.
Any ideas where I can find it?

bitpim 9.07 does it
