6230 Lockline Question

I've had my Nokia 6230 for a little more than 2 years now (I think), and have been paying thet $3.99 monthly for insurance this whole time. I'm surprised it's lasted this long - I've really beat the crap out of it - and was recently debating dropping the insurance. Given that the 6230 is discontinued, what would Lockline replace it with if I filed a claim?

Thanks, all.

Don't drop it, because if something was to happen to it and more then likely they have no more in the warehouse, you might get something better. 6682 maybe. Plus the insurance gives good peice of mind.

They Might screw you with a razr!!! You might have to dispute the functions of the phone in comparison to the 6682. They couldnt even XBM my 6620 for the 6682 at 1st!!!! Cingular is crazy

I just filed a claim with lockline on Monday with my 6230 which got destroyed. Less then a day later I recieved a 6682, be aware though, this is a pretty big phone, alot wider then the 6230. Let me know if you have any questions.

Awesome, thanks for all the replies, folks. I'll call them tomorrow (not cancelling it) and will hope for a 6682.

I'll post back with the results.

Just got off the phone with them. She said that if they have any 6230s available (which I kind of doubt, I mean, is Nokia even manufacturing them anymore?) they'd replace it with that, but otherwise it'd be a Nokia with "comparable features". Guess that means a 6682 - it's the only other Nokia with Bluetooth, a memory card slot and EDGE.

Now to wait a week or two before filing a claim, heh.
