Is there any software out there that will work on pocketPC 2000 that will allow me to send and recieve text messages with my Kyocera 2235. I have the data cable and it works fine for ICQ mail surfing etc, but I want to be able to use my PDA to type up text messages.
It would be nice if I could upload and download my address book to my IPAQ too.
Any suggestions?
I have tried winphone, redphone simplesms and a bunch of other programs but none seem to work.
Cheers
Matt

Hmm, interesting question. I have an iPaq 3765 and a Kyocera 5135, but I havent (yet) got the cables to hook them together. I bet writing a embedded VB or C++ program to do that wouldnt be very hard if the phone software supports some sort of upload of text messages from the serial port.
I've also heard there are dialup numbers u can use to send text messages, so you could check that out.
Good luck,
