I hope they don't change it, and if they do, it changes for the better.

Also, I was looking at the Cingular website and for MEdia Works (current) the MEdia Net is only 5mb, not unlimited. Is that correct? If so these new plans are definately an upgrade. |
What phone are you thinking of getting?

I like small flips - but don't like RAZR. Nokia 6126 should do just fine for me! =) |

Even with the new packages what I have doesn't fit any of the new packages. It's been like this for the last 2~3 months if that helps. K |

I still think that as a competive advantage goes, some people just arent coming to Cingular because they dont have the unlimited option. They did good with the overage charge only being .03 though.

ivwshane, I hope you understand its not my logic. I understand there is some marketing, not all though...let me explain: Cingular had a decsion to make, give unlimited text in ONLY CINGULAR coverage or give 3000 a month in the entire network including all the roaming partners. They obviously went with the 3000 a month with more coverage. Look into the other carriers (maybe excluding TMO), their unlimited text is really sort of an limited unlimited plan. Because they can only use it in certain areas. So there is only a small amount if any marketing involved. Has to do with paying roaming partners a lot of money. |
