Easy way to dial a contact on 8125?

Hello,
I'm trying to get used to my 8125, but I'm having one big problem: Dialing with one hand seems almost impossible. Is there an easy way to navigate through the contacts? I'm aware that you can scroll fast by holding the scroll button down and I have also downloaded Smartskey so I can scroll with the volume button. Still, navigating to an individual contact is very cumbersome. On the 2125s, the functionality is much more like a phone. Is there a way to use the touchpad keys on the 8125 to input letters in order to jump to a contact?
Thanks,

From phone menu or from contact list....just hit whatever letter you want and it will list all the name with that letter but all of your contact have to be saved in the phone rather than on the sim card.

a method that I've found effective is to slide out the keyboard (w/ one hand of course
)and press the letter of the name you want, close, and scroll from there....
with this method you can easily navigate the 8125....with one hand.....I do!

I use the today screen photo dialer. you could add the most dialed contacts to the speed dial list...

today photo dialer is ok, but lately i've been hitting the screen and dialing people by accident. i think i'm going to remove it and stick to voice dialing

I too have been using the MS Voice Command for all my most called contacts and it works great and is activated with just the push of a button on the side of the phone....easy to do with just one hand.

I use speed dial. 99% of my phone calls are made form it.
