V3i Problem- Where's "Delivery Reports" Option?

Hi All,

Just switched to the V3i from V3 and have a question. I'm not able to find any option to get delivery reports for text messages or MMS- is this no longer available in Moto's software? Even delivered messages (that I know got to their destination) just show as "sent" when checking message status, nothing about "delivered" and time/date.

My V3 was a year and a half old so software was not current, but I'm hoping Moto still offers this as an option?

Any help appreciated, thanks.

when creating a message hit the main menu key and select message options

That's how it worked on my V3, but no such option / menu pick on my V3i...

knowing the source of your phone (from a provider - direct from HK) might be helpful for us to know. it could require a seem edit. 0032-0001 offset 3D -bit 1: SMS delivery reports (1 on, 0 off)

I think its from S'pore... going to try the seem edit, a coupleof people have recommended that one, thanks

ahhh...my dear homie...assumption will get you nowhere in life. I'm a Rogers user., and as you can see my siggy has praises of a certain GSM phone that I'm fond of

Delivery reports are possible.

You may need to edit SEEM 0032_0001

offset 3D - bit 1: SMS delivery reports (1 on, 0 off)

offset 5E - bit 6: MMS > New Multimedia Message > Receipt > Delivery Report (1 on, 0 off)

your welcome anyway - it was an assumption based on your other post in a thread from someone with a V3C - no harm either way - we're all here to help each other!

I keep getting a lockup on restart with that seem edit... has anyone else experienced that?
