Connecting VX 9800 to Mac Bluetooth w/ Bitpim

I cannot do it for some reason. I read "joeaux's" post, which was great, but it still will not work for me. I am in 10.4.6 on a Mini and having a ton of trouble w/ the newest release of BitPim (v. 0.9 I think). I just got a USB Bluetooth dongle that seems to be working fine. If anyone would be willing to have an e-mail, or maybe even a quick phone dialogue with me to troubleshoot, that would be extremely helpful, thanks!

Even though it is for the 8100, the directions should still work for the 9800.
