seriously, is anyone else having painfully slow DL speeds on their 9300 through Cingular. I have one and its internet speed is the slowest I've seen. I work at a Cingular store and the floor models of similar smart phones eclipse this phone's speed. its extremely noticeable after i rock the Ev-Do on my verizon phone.

anyone know why my transfers are so slow and if there's any chance of speeding it up?

if i run the speed tests on my 9300 it rocks along at 130-150 kbps, mine works fine.

how or where do you run speed tests?

try dslreports.com/mspeed. for a speed test. try turning off the java script and increasing the cache on the from 600k default to 3000k, it makes a diffrence. at least for me it did

thanks, i'll try that. I came to that conclussion as well; that the cache was just not big enough and the phone was being bogged, I should have thought of that sooner. Its now increased and its flying far faster, especially through content intensive pages.

hey a while ago u posted about a 9300 and edge and some of that but eyah can u help me wiht instuctions toturn java off and increase the cache? please im in need

you open the browser and then you have 2 options 1 hit ctrl &k (crtl is the one button with an arrow pointing up) or 2 click the menu button.
scroll down the menu intil you reach tools then click down intil you see settings
once in settings you will see 3 tabs
general,services,advanced,
to turn off ther java script it under services
to increase the cahe its advanced i have mine set to 7000 and it speeds aways ( even with full html)
