I don't believe you can however, perhaps you should try gmail. It works great with versa mail.

I was told that you had to upgrade your hotmail account to allow POP mail to go from Hotmail. I think its a $5/month fee. Other then that it works the same as GMail.

Yea according to Palm.com there is no way to sync Hotmail unless you get Hotmail Plus...
