Hi guys,

I just purchased my 8125 today.

I am having 2 problems with it and have tried hard to fix them both.

First 1, is Wi-fi.

I select my wireless network from the list, it attemps to connect, but will not assign an IP address.

Anyone else having this problem?

Second problem is, i can not connect to skype with proxy enabled.

If i disable proxy I can connect, but the speeds are very slow without proxy..

Anyone can help me with these problems?

Its a known problem that you need to uncheck the proxy to connect using using Wifi.

I've tried doing that, says the same thing when i go to advanced on WIreless Lan

Associated to the Network

but the IP says 0.0.0.0

And for skype i am trying to connect via GPRS/EDGE and it will only connect if i disable the proxy.

I fixed the proxy problem for skype by connecting to the isp.cingular GPRS instead of the wap one.

I'm still having the lan problem tho, i can not connect... it does not obtain an IP
