You all helped me out so much the last time I had a problem I thought I would return for a follow up questions

Wondering if it is possible to block text messages from a specific number by modding the phone itself? I have read threads that show how to do this via the subscriber account page, but this entails creating a whitelist/blacklist for all text messages. I simply want to put in a block on the phone directly from receiving all messages from a specific number?

Is it possible? If it is, I know that you all have found a way! Appreciate any guidence. Thanks

not possible, as far as i know, sms is push based, not pull based, so if ANYTHING could block it, it would have to be on your service providers end, IF POSSIBLE. are you getting spammed? try just removing your sms completely, once the spammer realizes its a return to sender, he will remove you from the junk mailing list.

Contact your provider
and they will block the senders number including text messages

This won't BLOCK them, but will help you ignore them. Store the mumber in your telephone directory as "Ignore". Change the ring tone to "Silent". When that number calls, you simply won't know....
