Gain table resets, any clue

I modded my PEBL's gain_table at offset 0D to value 05, uploaded the file, restarted the phone, checked and the change was applied (louder earpiece), but ..... some time later the change reverted to original (the earpiece was again low) though the PEBL's internal gain table still had the setting 05 at offset 0D. Anybody has clues what's going on? Thx in advance.

No need to go into that complicated seem editing...Just use P2KTools..you can change the gain table by a click of a button..

Unfortunately I have MacOSX and p2ktools isn't an option. I have to resort to moto4lin.

sounds like the earpiece speaker may have an issue.
