Problem with Motorola Slvr L7

Hello,

I flashed my Motorola Slvr L7 (Cingular Branded) tonight with the default factory firmware and everything went successfully until at the end of the process when RSD Lite said restarting phone and then actually told me to power it on manually and when I tried to do so, the keypad lights up for about a second and then automatically powers off. I took the battery out and re-inserted it and still no dice. I also followed all of the instructions on an instruction thread to a tee (from hofo). Please help me out with any advice.

Thanks!

Mods,

Please feel free to move this thread if it is in the wrong place.

Yep, you f'ed up. The Motorola stock (unbranded) firmware only works on the 0A.D* (IIRC) Boot Loader, and we Cingular-branded SLVR L7 owners have Boot Loader 0A.20. Conversly, the Cingular flash file (with iTunes) only works on phones with the 0A.20 Boot Loader, so people who ordered the overseas SLVR L7 phones can't use it. As of right now, there is no way to change (either upgrade or downgrade) the boot loader on a SLVR L7. Word is that some people are working on it, but with no results as of yet.
