Searched but could not find the anser anywhere. I downloaded a ringtone from Cingular, and save it to My Music folder on the 8125. When I go to try and select it for a ringtone, it does not show up anywhere in the folder. I have looked all over, but cannot fing the ringtone aywhere on the phone.

I just got a memory card and will probably just put the music on there. What program are most people using to cut the clip to a shorter length?

Wirelessly posted (whatever the next lines says: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; PPC; 240x240) Opera 8.50 [en])

this is the wrong forum to ask this question, just to let you know some one gonna say something. but try my documents folder for the clip and try audcity for making the clips

Thanks for the heads up, and the info on Audacity. I was going to post in the Pocket PC forum, but figured since I was talking about issues with a ringtone downloaded from Cingular, it would be more appropriate.

Cjmedina meant that this post should belong in the "Cingular PDA/Smartphones/Data Cards" subforum, it's ok to ask questions of this nature but use the appropriate subforum.

Ringtones should be saved in one of these three locations:

On Main Memory, either \Application Data\Sounds or \Windows\Rings

On a Storage Card they have to be in the root directory of the card such as in driveletter:\ when transfering through a PC card reader or \Storage Card when transfering through ActiveSync.

Thanks. I wanted to know how to do this as well. Is there a way to automatically send the ringtones here?
