umobile sponsored a chinese singing contest here in the Victoria. was all good until some dorky chinese guy (who was like 20+ years older than the hot female competitors) won the show.

But at least the 904SH has a very good chance of being unlocked and can work here 100%... but the 905SH has no chance to work here at all, whether it's unlocked or not

I'm moving to Japan around November-December this year, as soon as I can get a plan with DoCoMo (I know gaijin have some problems with that) and as long as the prices aren't too high, I'm definitely getting one of their Sharps.

well.. the contest is that.. whoever wins.. gets 50% off the next purchase. its a pretty swanky deal really. submit a picture.. i get about 10-20 clients who wanna participate and the users vote. the last one was pretty good.

but i've seen their text books and the handwriting methods shown in them are the same as the ones i learnt as a kid. however, when i was their i watched one of my friends write something in english and asked them how they remember our characters, and she said she would compare it to a hiragana character, for example "e" is similar to "no". so, i think it might have something to do with their style of writing their own kana..

lol, they're actually updating purikura machines in Sydney? After the Playtime arcades shut down in George St I thought no-one was bothering to update any machine throughout Sydney anymore, heh

yeah, capitol has been buying up like crazy.. they've acquired 3 or 4 in the last 2 months. at $15 per go, i can understand why too. i've never seen the place empty except for 10am on school days =P
