v220 password

I have had my v220 for a while but i've been using my v3 and i set a password on my v220 that i cant remember. Is there anyway that i can take off the password so that i could use the phone. Thanks

when it asks for the unlock code press menu - it should then ask for the security code - hopefully it is still the default 000000

If it's not still at 000000, try this (not sure it works on a V220 - it works on phones with the old, WIDE connector at the bottom):
Turn the phone off. Plug it into the USB cable. Crank up p2k advanced editor. Select Phone Services then Passwords. Click the Read from phone button. Change the password to whatever you want, then click the Write to phone button.
See? NSA level security
