i was looking at this phone and i was thinking this is a pretty nice phone. but there are some things that i wonder about it, to see if i'll purchase it or not in the future. does it support mmf ringtones (voice ones, and is there a limit), does the video conversion from the toshiba ts921 thread also work with the 904, and how's the video recording? is it at least better than most phones out there? oh, and is the camera interface that complicated, or just a bit out of order. and how's the t9 and bluetooth on this phone? and is is true that it'll accept only cetain types of t-mobile sim cards? i heard that this phone can also display 3D sms messages, i wouldn't mind that in a phone. thanks~

nice but a bit big, the sound: ****** no good bass, camera photos: 3.2mp big size but ****** quality, no auto-focus..., t9 works fine in english. video recording is ok, not as good as sharps (same comment photo wise).

It'll take mmf voicetones... but i can only transfer mmf's that are smaller than 300kb onto the phone. That should be enough for ~25sec ringtone, give or take depending on the quality you choose.

Camera interface is brutal and honestly kind of annoying. On one hand, it's nice that you have the external buttons so you can select options through a menu, but the camera menu is vertical, so you have to turn the phone upright again to view them instead of leaving the phone sideways. Plus the only way to adjust the size of the photo while in the viewfinder is by pressing a number key (i think it's 1), you can't adjust the size by going through the camera menu... which is also annoying because now if you have the phone with the screen rotated like a camera, you have to flip it open to press whatever button it is to change the picture size.

They really need to redo their entire camera interface and take some pointers from sharp's and sony ericsson's interfaces.

i also own a 904T and i agree with some of what is said about it.
I agree with the button layout for the camera being ******, and half agree about photo quality being bad. The quality is pretty good in the proper lighting (ie . outside in the sun)
overall i am pretty happy with my phone aside from the fact that i cant install games from computer-->phone, id like to know if there is a way of doing this lol :P

How about a third-party website to upload then dl your games? I tried this once, and I could dl things. No site comes to mind though...exams are done and I am suffering from CRS!

A few more notes, MMF files are accepted up to 300kb and in MA-7 format. My Bluetooth function is good. Synchs well with my car, mac, and other phones. To be honest, I like the sound better than the Sharp 903SH that I had too. The media player displays both artist name and album. It also has better sound control (surround, live, hall, etc) than other phones I have used. External lights are well positioned to indicate messages, missed calls, VM, etc. Even with the drawbacks on this phone (camera, size) its the best japanese domestic market phone I have used.
