Ive always been of the opinion that if it was that easy to increase reception the phone manafuctures would include and implement this amazing battery sticker "technology" into their products.

Wirelessly posted (motorola razr v3c: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102 UP.Link/6.3.0.0.0)

I don't see those commercials as much anymore, maybe consumers finally caught on.

Phone manufactures should be designing products with RF in mind instead of relying on brillant minds to come up with quick fixes or other band aids.

This is my complaint with the HTC 8125...generally poor RF. If I had more time I would use this phone more off-network so I can compare RF quality between networks and phones, thus getting a clearer picture of what this phone can and can't do. Even on the Cingular network, well...

only reason i have these things is cuz people give them free with purchases on ebay. ive never used them, and never had confidence in them thats why i asked. what i thought has been confirmed by your responses

I still have 2 pieces of those, dont waste your time finding a spot to stick it on. Go do some gardening workout.

i actually have one on my phone, and it works. don't expect to get full strength but it will give you 1-2 bars in areas of your house when you have zero. the antenna inside the 8125 is the same as the signal booster gold cooper film laid down in the upper right corner. so what the booster is doing is grabbing and stray signals and pushing it to the antenna.

in my office i use to get zero signal now i have 1-2 bars and if i lay my phone down on top of a paper clip i get 3-4. so yeah it works but not like most people would want. you can try it out for yourself just lay down a booster without sticking it down behind the battery and see if there is a difference.

reason why cell makers don't add boosters is cause there's not room, usually you have to put the booster over the serial number sticker. and usually when phones are tested its done in areas that have really good strength. there's never a dead spot in a cell phone store.

thats what I tell my coworkers that ask about them. But if a customer asks, then "its supposed to improve the recption."

Huge margin on these stickers, cost is less than $.40 and they sell for $9

i remember way back (about 99 or so) i got a nokia, and put one of those reception boosting stickers on there and it improved by 1 bar.. but you have to realize that the technology was fairly new back then and i'm sure the copper would actually affect the antenna in some way.. but now adays i seriously doubt it will do much good to notice.
