cingular 8125 call issue

On phone calls, I can hear the other person but they cant hear me. I dont know if I have mis hit a button or something, but it has been doing this off and on the last couple of days. can anyone give me some help?

This isn't limited to the 8125 or any other phone. I have experienced this problem with other phones besides the 8125.
