I have been trying to find the answer to this for awile.

My phone is blank (a V3), fully charged battery. I have a full backup.

How do I put the phone into bootloader mode since the bootloader is blank? * # power will NOT work because the bootloader doesn't exist.

When I put the battery in, the keypad immediately lights up and stays on with nothing else. I contacted a technician and he seemed to agree that the bootloader was gone.

So, how do I reinstall a bootloader so I can restore my backup? All of the programs and procedures in this forum have failed simply because the phone can't boot.

The bootloader is not "blank" nor is it "gone".

Just do the normal process - even though the screen is blank - and go from there.

However, you've got a lot of work in front of you. You need to do more searching and reading before you do anything else.
